October Events at Hale Kau Kau

Stomping out Hunger, Volunteers needed

This month of September has flown by in preparation for the holiday season to come. Hale Kau Kau, staffed by an amazing group of volunteers is already organized for several events this season, the first of which is the annual "Stomp Out Hunger" event. A 5K run, and 1 mile walk, it is is sponsored by the HKK TRACK & ROAD CLUB, sanctioned by USATF, a national organization. Proceeds of race go to: Hale Kau Kau: Feeding the Hungry with Compassion & Aloha

The 2nd Annual STOMP OSign Up HereUT HUNGER 5K AND 1 MILE WALK  is a fundraiser for Hale Kau Kau, a non profit dedicated to feeding the hungry on Maui.    Run and Walk will be on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 8am  on the campus of St. Theresa Church, 25 Lipoa Street, Kihei Maui Hi 96753    

There will be 5 year age group awards from 9-99.  All are welcome to run or walk either event -the 5k (3.1miles) or the 1 Mile.  Course is flat and well marked out and back. breakfast and award ceremony following the run.

The Hale Kau Kitchen will be preparing a light breakfast at the St. Theresa's community room for participants, and welcome all volunteers and organizations who are interested in supporting this important cause through the donation of time, food, and materials.
